In the Group’s spirit that we are all deserving of equal opportunities, Caldera Group held a charity, mini marathon event that took place around the Caldera hotels’ complex in Gerani Chania. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness and funds for Action Aid Hellas with the support of Pilala.
Guests of all ages volunteered and participated in 4 mini marathons, starting from beach in front of Caldera Beach hotel and along the coast and then returned to the finish point via inner courses between the Caldera hotels. From individuals to couples and entire families, our guests truly enjoyed the morning run and the coastal course. Personal testimonies from guests, revealed a sense of gratitude and fulfillment for being given the opportunity to give back to the less fortunate and teach the younger generation the value of philanthropy.
All the revenues from the event were given to Action Aid Hellas, an international and independent organization whose main cause is to battle social inequalities and poverty in Greece.
